UPnP seems to be completely absent. Wouldnt use it if it was free it just feels backwards. Screen Shot at Looks like UPNP does work just not for me apparently.
Just installed on MacMini, imported my old library quickly I hope that is still available for 3. There are several positive SQ comments on the Audirvana support forum. The question is, which is more accurate? And I wonder why a difference? Could you please remind what you are feeding from the Mac mini, and os that on your own stored music? For me is does not result, I need the convenience of multiuser to my files, my daughter uses their iPhone and computer, my wife their phone and computer, I only use the computer for work and I like the convenience of using the iPad as a controller in my living room for the streamer.
And all our files are on the same NAS. Audirvana license is for one device only, you have to desautorize the registered device before you can use on another, in this regard has no multiuser.
I like the interface, but roon is a better option for me, and the total dependence of a computer and a one machine at the time only, makes roon feel cheap. Thinner, yes not immediately appealing, but a poor attempt to describe more detaill in the music but not necessarily in a bad way. Boogie was simply meant to convey it had my toes tapping more than normal.
Although it appeared it was still on my computer it would not allow access. I uninstalled on tried reinstalling Audirvana. I can not download and install the it. I get errors when tying to load.
Can you help? I downloaded it and put my license in and it worked. I assume you cleared my computer to enable me to download the app. I will try and find the download and try again. I had Audirvana 3. When I did the upgrade the program did all the normal things it did in the past but when I went to open the progam nothing happened. The little wheel spun a couple of times by the cursor but the program did not open. Thinking that the upgrade got botched up I uninstalled the program, downloaded another 3.
Is the 3. If so, I wonder if it might work if I reinstalled it. Now I can listen to the same stream in the office, family room, and outside and am free to roam about the yard without worrying about WiFi dropping out. And I still have complete control over what is playing and volume and more from my iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch! Well done Apple!!! This app makes it so easy to search and control a 3rd gen Apple TV, since you can use a keyboard to enter your search.
It only finds songs already added to your library. I have a playlist of internet streams, which it finds, which is great.. Trying to connect to a Mac that is sleeping is hit and miss.
I wish I could always remotely wake it and start some tunes. This is one of the most used apps I have on my IOS devices, using it to control a headless Mac mini music server. It may work normally. Try Hard reboot in your Android mobile. Press and hold down the "Home" and "Power" buttons at the same time for upto 10 seconds.
Then, release the buttons and hold down "Power" button until the screen turns on. Now you can try opening the app, it may work fine. If none of the above working, you can wait till your phone battery drains and it turns off automatically. After that put it to charge, and press the power button.
It may work after this. Finally, if you can't fix it with anything, you may need to uninstall the app and re-install it.
